Here's something else about things that don't kill you: they usually also make you lonely, angry, sick, sad, scared, and a whole lot of other un-fun things. Maybe, eventually, they'll also make you stronger, but in the meantime, let's not ignore the reality that everything in the meantime feels really hard.
