Canal Boat - QEF

The Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) in partnership with the Voluntary Association for Surrey Disabled (VASD) have an adapted canal boat. It was with a great deal of excitement that we set off to Hemel Hempstead to climb aboard. We were very lucky to be able to share the boat with Rosie and Jim! They had made a special effort to be there, because they had heard that Skye was a fan.

The look on Skye's face when he 'caught' a fish was a picture. It was fortuitous that I was on the tow path ready to catch the moment on camera. What a clever fish to tie the line around it's belly! It was a wonderful weekend full of smiles and laughter.
